Trader Joe's has carried a cornbread stuffing mix for years and I've always been tempted to try it and I finally bit the bullet and grabbed a box the other mean solar day and made it to review for this blog (and too thinking almost Thanksgiving!) It looks pretty unproblematic to prepare. There is a purse of dried cornbread stuffing in the box and a smaller bag of seasonings. You heat upwardly 3 i/ii to four cups of h2o, ane/4 cup of butter and bring to a eddy and dump the packet of seasonings in there and simmer for a few minutes then dump it all on the dried cornbread and fold until everything is well mixed. I opted for the 3 ane/2 cups of water considering I like my stuffing a little drier but even that was too wet for me.

[UPDATE] – Since I wrote this review a while back it has come to my attention that the title is misleading for this production. They say "Cornbread Stuffing Mix", but in reality, it's mostly white breadstuff and some cornbread "croutons". I'm not certain why they did this. Information technology's a little disingenuous to say it's cornbread stuff.
I am going to rate the Trader Joe's Cornbread Stuffing Mix half dozen bells for flavour but 1 Bell for being deceiving about what this is.

Made on shared equipment with eggs, milk, fish.
